The union minister of India and Pm Narndra Modi has launched a scheme named PM E-Drive Scheme for all the residents of India. There is good news for all the new buyers of the vehicle across the country who are interested in buying electric vehicles as the union minister of India has launched a beneficiary programme for all these buyers named PM E-Drive Scheme. Under this PM E-Drive Scheme government will pay a subsidy amount to all the eligible buyers of electronic vehicles to promote the purchase and use of e vehicles. For promoting innovative and sustainable transportation across the country the information and broadcast minister Mr Ashwini Vaishnav highlights the government’s commitments. In this scheme subsidy or demand incentive amount of Rs. 3679 has been offered by the government for two wheeler, three wheeler, buses, electronic ambulance, and e trucks etc. for two wheeler vehicle the scheme will support Rs. 24.79 lakhs, for three wheeler vehicle Rs. 3.16 Lakhs, and electronic buses of 14028 for the ambulance government will allot Rs. 500 crores.

For 14028 buses the government is going to provide an amount of Rs. 4391 to all the e buses which will be provided by the transport units and public transport agencies of each state. To avail the benefit of this scheme the government will launch an e voucher for all the electronic vehicle buyers. Under this scheme the government will prepare approximately 200 public electric charging stations in some of selected cities with high EV penetration and some charging points at highways also. For four wheeler vehicles approximately 22100 fast chargers, for E buses 1800 fast chargers and for two wheeler and three wheeler vehicles 48400 fast chargers will be installed by the government.
