Recently to the central government this committee had submitted a report regarding the One Nation One Election 2024. All the indians are discussing about the One Nation One Election 2024. On Wednesday by Narandra modi the proposal of one nation one election was passed. Now this One Nation One Election 2024 bill will be introduced in the Assembly. The government has introduced this bill to reduce the cost of election as in India most of the time there is some election taking place in the country which increased the cost. due to imposition of code of conduct Development works have to be stopped. Now if this bill is implemented in India the election of Lok Sabaha and Assembly elections can be conducted at the same time across the country which reduces the cost of election.
The BJP has announced the promise of One Nation One Election 2024 during the election promises of lok sabha in the winter session, this bill is likely to be introduced in the assembly. As per the latest announcement of central minister mr. Ashwini Vaishnav the election under the One Nation One Election 2024 will be held in two phase together. In phase one election of Lok Sabaha and Assembly elections will be scheduled by the government and in phase two election of local body will be organized with in 100 days of 1st phase elections. India is not the only country who are going to introduced this One Nation One Election 2024 bill as approximately one dozen countries are following this election changes

One Nation One Election Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Under this One Nation One Election 2024 all the voter will be eligible to poll their vote for local, central and state government at the same time, same day nad on same booth.
- The election cost can be reduced as elections will be done at the same time.
- The development works will be done continuously as there is no need to implement code of conduct again and again.
- Due to the elections which are held by the government every 6 months in the country, pressure is immense on the security force and administrative machinery. Conducting One Nation One Election can reduce this pressure which help the authority for the better utilization of the resources.
- Attractive promises will not work: the frequency of the election promotes the populist policies. Now because of this One Nation One Election process these Attractive promises will not work as One Nation One Election will be helpful in focusing on the long term policy planning and a development which is sustainable.
- Increment in teh vote percentage: due to this One Nation One Election voters can elect their poll at the same time and same booth for local, central and state government which attracts the voters as they will no need to face the issue of poll again and again which promotes them to participate in the election more which can increase the vote percentage.
