The ICAI is an organization which conducts the various examinations for all those students who are pursuing the courses of CA. The CA course has multiple exams which are required to be passed by the participant to be awarded by the CA degree. At the start foundation examination will be organised after that intermediate examination which has two groups. After passing both groups, students need to complete a three year training programme. After the training they will be examined in the final examination of the CA course which has two groups. After passing all two group exams, students will be awarded by the ICA with a professional degree of CA which will be valid for the whole life of the candidate.

ICAI CA Foundation & IPCC Exam pattern 2025
In the foundation exam a total of four papers will be organized by the authority in which paper 1 and paper will be subjective and paper 3 and 4 will be objective. Maximum 100 questions will be asked and maximum 400 marks will be alloted. In group 1 examination of IPCC the authority will conduct three papers by carrying the total marks of 400. In group 2 examination of IPCC the authority will have three papers carrying the total marks of 400.
