Different CRA Tax Refunds 2025

GST/HST Credit: This is a quarterly non taxable benefit for lower and moderate income residents to offset the Goods + Services Tax and Harmonised Sales tax they paid on everyday items. The residents need no application – they just need to file a return. 

Disability Tax Credit: It’s a non refundable credit for the residents who are experiencing serious and prolonged disability. This benefit helps to lower income tax owed. 

Canada Carbon Rebate: It offers quarterly payments to households (in provinces where there is application of carbon pricing) to offset the fuel charges costs. Now these benefits have been stopped and the last payment will be on 22nd April, 2025.   

Canada Workers Benefit: It’s a refundable credit for low income workers. It offers basic amounts with a disability supplement. This payment is meant to encourage employment. 

Canada Caregiver Credit: It’s a non refundable credit for residents who support a spouse, partner or dependent with physical or mental impairment.  

Canada Training Credit: It’s a refundable credit for Canadians aged 26 to 65 to help cover tuition and training costs. 

Home Accessibility Tax Credit: This is for expenses related to home renovation that improves safety or accessibility for seniors or those with impairment.
